Radar Detectors & Geodesey
Discussion
I take it that you have accumulated a large number of points..... I will be buying a geodesy if I get any points on my licence.
Geodesy has an extension for the gps aerial which means that you don't need the actual unit on the dashboard. You may find that radar detectors have the same facility. that means that you can wire them in somewhere discreet.
Consider these options before starting to drill.

My Geodeasy sits quite nicely on top of the dash, stuck with a 'small' amount of doublesided tape, not the huge sticky pad supplied, if you don't buy the ariel option (£75ish I think) the unit must be able to see daylight above it (ie through front screen)
Mines hard wired straight to the battery, with the cable pushed down the groove at the back of the dash.
On a cheecky note if you are going to buy one, they are doing an offer at the moment where if you recomend one to someone and they buy one you both get a freebie extra, (email me for more details)
