Oh right, not barred for changing handle - Ted must of disapproved when I did it last time (whoops!).

How do I get the battery out of the key fob - I came out with the spare this morning and could'nt lock the car ! I've tried splitting it at seam, but did'nt push that as it felt all wrong.

It will open at the seam, small screwdriver should do it, just seperate the two halfs gently. Watch when you press it back together that the circuits boards are properly aligned and seated within the housing.
