Steering Wheel Bosses
Discussion
Ok, I have a momo steering wheel that I have had for years and put on all of my cars, Now the Tvr although has the same bolt spacing needs a new boss due to the fact that the holes are out of line, I ordered a new boss for my wheel for TVR fitment. When fitting it I noticed that although it fits, it does not have the stalk for switching the indicators off or the bracket for the horn. UUmmmmmm!!!!, Looking at the old boss, I can see that it has a black plastic ring with the horn and stalk which pops off, The problem is this does not fit onto the new boss!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Nearly Finished!!)
Has anyone else experienced this? or have I just been given the wrong boss? I have made a sort of bracket to hold the horn and stalk ring in position but its not brilliant. If the boss is correct and you have also got this, what did you do? Many thanks and sorry for the length

I think you may have the wrong boss. I have just done the same job on my 400se and it was the devils own job getting the right one. There are several subtle variations on the theme it seems, and its all down to matching the boss to the wheel and the column. The right boss would come with adaptor tings for horn etc.
In the end Peninsula sorted it all out for me and I successfully fitted the one they supplied, without problems.
