just seen chim values by dexdringle wow what a hornets nest !!!!!. just have to reply to dex. yes my car has full tvr history. it is mint. is hpi clear. 4 owners will stand any inspection by any tvr specialist or otherwise this is why i will not sell for 11k with all due respect many car buyers do not know mint from a hole in the ground i do. some of the cars i viewed before buying mine would make your eyes water.my next car is a subaru imprezza wrx up for 13k the dealer is offering 11.5k in px. i havent done the deal yet. why is the tvr thing not for me well mate it just aint. i have been known to buy a brand new m/cycle and trade it in with ony 28 miles on the clock mad yes but thats the way it is ive had 18 new bikes in the last 8 years so you can see i like a bit of a change hope this answers your questions !! if i have to wait a couple of moths to sell fine who knows i might just change my mind !!

If you have to wait a couple of months to sell it then the roof will come off, and it`ll still be in your garage in Sept

mikey i think you are a very brave man
i am now going to make a point of trying not to actually EVER contribute to a dex'probable-xr3i-tyre-kicker' dingle thread.(for sanity reasons).
but i would just say mikey that every word you typed i wholeheartedly agree with and i reckon there isnt a GENUINE tvr nut on here that doesnt....
there said it..
it might make me unpopular but hey you can kiss my f%$^&*g a$$ !!

I dont know about anyone else, but buying a car like a TVR is an emotional experience. I checked out a few and bought the one that I thought was the best - probably wasnt (hasnt let me down in anyway so keeping my fingers crossed). But at the end of the day I think that most people would do the "ooo, ahhh, its looovverly - I just have to have it!" trick.

You will always get tyre kickers (feel sympathy with TVR dealers on this) and they you get the real enthusiasts. I am worried about selling mine on when the time comes - not yet I have to add - but this is something that I will just have to deal with when the time comes. Oh, and I am 100% aware that I will loose 1000's on the car - but hey, thats the price of owning a car that can do 0-60 in 4.5 and 155 max. They are a bit specialist for almost everyone.

Cheers,

Paul
