More power without trading up - would be nice.
Discussion
I've had a post 95 4l chimp for about a year now, i'm used to the power, and the buzz is dying off.
Other than trading up, what's the simplest (read most effective and safest for the car) way to boost the power. Air filters, for example. At the moment, it would not be smart to trade, as i'm leaving the country for a bit soon.
Cheers for the help in advance.
Rob.

Tornado chip and rolling road session with Mark Adams would seem the first step - get nearer the claimed BHP before trying for more.
I think most of the goodies from ACT or JE Developments etc. (snazzy inlet trumpets, airflow meter upgrade, higher lift camshaft) will fit and improve the power of a 4.0L, but everyone does this to 5.0L cars ...
Seriously though, I'd upgrade the brakes and suspension after the rolling road sesh - TVRs aren't exactly slow and making them corner a bit better makes sense.

When I was speaking to Dave Batty at The Garage, he mentioned that there is a few things he can do to get the 4.0 a little pokier....... Not sure exactly what but might be worth having a chat...
