1. Check that your car really does have heated seats. Look for a cable underneath the seat. Not unknown for it to be claimed and not fitted and vice versa. If you are trying to switch them off than skip this.

2. Look in the owner's handbook. TVR have the habit of frequently changing the control for this and it could be as I explained in the bible almost anywhere but the owner's handbook should help. Prbably in the section on heating/air con and ventilation.

The heated seats control in my 99 Chim are located on the steering column. It looks like the boot release switch (round black) and is on the right, on the side
near the back.

Erm really confused cos I couldnt find any switch even though when I bought the car the Dealer said it had that option. So maybe with more searching I might find it.

Phone your dealer and ask where the switch is!

My 96 Chim also has a switch directly behind the ignition switch and I am not aware of any alternate placement.

The heat is pretty subtle. I only discovered I had heated seats when the weather cooled off. They had been on all summer, which helps to explain why I sweated like a pig so often

No mistaking when my seats are on - warm as toast, highly recommended!

As posted earlier, the button is the same shape as the boot release and can be found on the steering column, behind the ignition.

On my '95 Chimaera, the switch is at the back of the steering column shroud on the LEFT hand side.
Cable is clearly visible if you tilt seat forward to check if the option is fitted.
Don't need 'em on for long either
