just bought 93 chimp400 only prob thats glaringly obvious other than a seemingly above average idle rpm (10,000)is a gap of 10mm between passenger window and hod - looks from front as if the hod may not be on correctly (have tried re putting on but same each time) OR the door is too low? - i dunno, thought i'd ask - in the meantime, qnyone know where i can buy an all over car cover??

Window needs adjusting, about half way along the door, down through the window /door furry seal is a screw turn it and the window tilts up or down accordingly.
If your car is reving at 10000 rpm id see a doctor. dont you mean over 1000

Saw a window being adjusted today on a 95 Chim and it seemed quite easy to adjust the screw. A good flat head screwdriver did the trick. If I watched correctly tightening the screw raised the glass.

Got a piccy of where to adjust on my website

www.motion-lotion.co.uk/Chimaera%20Door%20Glass%20Adjustment.html

Don't go too far and make the door hard to close with the window up (and make sure the roof seal still sticks out, rather than in, or you'll get puddles on the seat.

For car cover. I use a hood cover from Leven technology http://leventechnology.co.uk are I am extremely happy. Easy and quick to fit / remove, secure, waterproof. The car loves it !
