Don't be put off it really is quite simple - took me about 30 mins to get old one out and new one in, and i'm no mechanic!!

Top tip.
Draw lines on the fibre glass floor with a permi-marker where the battery box meets the floow. Then, when you put it back in and line up the marks (make lateral marks too), the screws will just glide in from underneath.
Or do what I did the first time (went through a phase of leaving the door ajar every night for about a week): Don't make marks and then spend about an hour shouting at my sodding car (obviously car's fault).
Have fun.

With risk of security alert. What puts me off, is disconnecting the alarm. I assume if you disarm the car correctly (ie as you do normally to drive the car) then you can disconnect the power to the alarm - no hassles. However, I guess, if you disconnect the alarm when its armed - volia wake up time.
