I have a '99 Chimaera with the standard OZ 5 spoke alloys. It lives in the relatively safe Berkshire countryside at night but I use it daily to go to work in Reading and Newbury. I don't want to risk losing my wheels, let alone the SO2s!

Can someone help me get the right locking wheel nuts without having to go through a process of trial and error?

Tim,

No advice on the nuts, but sounds like we are in the same neck of the woods and may spot each other around the Newbury/Reading area. I drive a Cosmos Blue 500 and am regularly charging from home (south of Newbury) to Reading and back.

What colour is your motor - I'll give you an extra toot if I see you

I saw a blue N-reg Chimaera coming out of the Chineham Shopping Centre (just North of Basingstoke) yesterday.

Gave 'em a flash & a wave, then realised I was on the Corrado. Ooops. :-)

They looked very flustered - maybe thought I was trying to tell them something was wrong with the car.

Thanks for the wheel nut info + responses.

I have a starmist blue 4l Chim. Usual routes are A4 and back roads between Reading and Newbury. Give me a wave.

How come everyone on here seems to live in Silicon Valley? I can just see the A4/M4 every night, all you owners waving to each other like mad!

I've only seen two Chims in my CITY this year – no hang on, make that one. Guess we're just the poor relations up here ...

Mind you, hopefully gonna be looking at my own soon.

I was once told by my dealer that their customers are roughly split into two groups. Traders and the like that go out there in January to spend their city bonus' and IT contractors.
