Got to sell my Chim!!!!!
Discussion
Due to family circumstances, it looks like the chim has got to go this year, boo hoo!
I would appreciate some advice on the best way/time/format to sell and any advice on value etc.
It is a superb condition (vituually no stone chips etc) Ice Blue Metallic Chim 400. 1997 P with only 17,400 miles. I have had it a year and it has been used daily without fail, mostly by the missus to and from work! I had to make do with the company car! The previous owner had it garaged and never used it hence the low mileage!
100% reliable, it has PAS, a new single 'face off CD' and uprated Pioneer speakers. Dark blue hood and blue leather.
Oh and I've just put 4 new SO2's on it and had the hood waterproofed for the winter.
Anyway, I would welcome any interest/advice.
God I'm going to miss her!!

Sorry to hear a Chimaera owner leaving the fold.
Apart from the usual Autotrader and Exchange and Mart why not try www.ebay.co.uk . It's an auction site where you can set a reserve and costs very little. Must be worth a try. Other than that I guess your next best bet is to take it to a dealer or someone like Adrian Blyth www.adrianblyth.co.uk .
It depends how quickly you need to shift the car. If possible I would wait a few months. You don't need me to tell you, but at this time of year and the current work climate I suspect you will struggle to obtain a good price.
Hope you find a buyer at the right price. I'm sure all of us would be interested on how you get on, keep us posted.

Following on from marlboro, you could try findit.co.uk which has a dedicated tvr page. You could just leave it on there and see how it goes. This is what I've done with my Mustang (as it has an Amercian page too). You can have pics and a pretty detailed description.
And it's FREE!! If you haven't already though, see my post under your thread in the General TVR section!
