Going to look at the Chim I have a good feeling about this weekend - its a 97R with 20k - What are the main things I should have a look out for, and doesn anyone know if there is a TVR specialist who could inspect it for me in Berks??

When I bought my cerbera from Adrian Blyth - I met the guy who does all his work - Dave Batty in Compton Just off the A3 - really nice guy and specializes in TVR`s.
Would recommend him without hesitation
Tel:01483-811995.
He will look over the car for you and give advice.

All the best

Just called him - What a nice bloke indeed!
He said that if I take it in it will only cost me approximately £35+ VAT for an on the ramps inspection.... If all goes according to plan I'll be seeing him very soon!

So hughjayteens what engine are you looking at ? Are you going to wimp like myself at 4l or go large ? Bright or dull colour ?

I hope it all works out for you.

Yes - It did look very straight (To my untrained eye anyway) but I'd be much happier of a pro takes a look....
I cannot believe it has had 8 main dealer services in only 20k (One every 6 months) - That is as many as my BM has had in 93k!!!
