Tower View (www.t-v-r-services.co.uk) are doing GAZ shocks for Griffs and Chimaeras. About 500 ish for a set. Ride height and shock adjustable. Come with a three year warrenty as well according to the paperwork that arrived with mine - they are going on the 520 this weekend.

The first test day for the 2002 spec 520 is in mid Feb at Goodwood so I should know then. Providing the 2002 spec engine is back by then and in the car!

Just joined and interested in any opinions on shocks. Have been recommended some for my 4l Chimaera at 1grand,is this the going rate for fully adjustable and rebuildable shocks? I understand that Bilstein are about £800 a throw. Any advice taken on board
Jeez that's expensive for ordinary adjustable shocks, I paid around that for my Nitrons (which are superb, by the way). You can get decent dampers for quite a bit less than that, Gaz, Ledas, that sort of thing. I've tried Gaz shocks and they were fine, haven't tried Ledas but know a couple of people who have and like them. (I've also tried Spax and AVO, I recommend the others!)
Cheers,
