Windscreen outside rubbers

Also, mine has come away so much that the wife managed to shut the passenger door on the seal, thus mangling it, I only noticed it this morning. Managed to put it back ok, seal appears to be sound though. However, thinking of putting some black sealer (sp) to keep it together and keep the water out. Any advice welcome.
Oh the seal is only about 9 months old since it had a new windscreen (and seal) back in March.

I had the same problem last summer when a section of the seal blew back away from the screen . Might have had something to do with demonstrating a TVRs acceleration capability to a Merc. on a French motorway . Eventually had to tape up 3 different areas.
Back in England, stopped and chatted with a windscreen repair guy who let me have a tube of black silicon rubber sealant. This is apparently what they generally use which has worked well for me and I've had no further problems.

I have the same problem but at the top of the windscreen on the passenger side - only reveals itself above 100 with the top down (thus only on a track day of course! ), when the rubber comes away from the glass. I'll try the silicon sealant.
