Err, have never seen a Chim with spotlights and in my opinion I wouldn't bother fitting them. If it looked right they'd have built them in originally.

Leven technology: www.leventechnology.co.uk/ do ally covers for lots of the slightly kitcar bits on Tivs (fag lighter, ashtray, buttons, stalks etc.) Their fag lighter cover is £16.25. Of course, if you start down this route it could all get horribly out of hand !!! www.zertec.co.uk also has a selection of shiny bits. The stalks look particularly good (a mate's got them on his elise, but they're the same on the Chim)
While we're on the subject, does anybody know which parts bin the window switches come from they look like Vauxhell Carlton bits but I'm not sure.

Window switches definitely used to be used on the last shape Cavalier, probably other Vauxhall models too.

They're sh1te, aren't they?

Revolting !
Porsche dissilusionment(sp?) beginning to set in. The Elan had bits you could play with/mend/break/customise yourself. The Porsche is so slick it that any mods quickly look tacky but it's got no character. I'm still thinking about a track day car, so I might join the TVR crowd soon...

Got a lot of the leven bits myself - stalks, buttons, handbrake and very impressed. Easy to fit and don't look tacky. Going to get the lighter and cigarette trays next!

Got my bits from Leven as well - very nice ! If you part with a couple of grand to get a fantastic car, an extra £150 are not going to make a financial difference, but it WILL make a big difference to you as these are the bits you see and touch every time you will be driving your baby. I went for the full monty: full stalks set, hand brake and lighter. IMO it would be rude not to !
In an ideal world, I would be driving my Chimaera... behind my Chimaera, thus enjoying its gorgeous looks and fantastic noise. Errrr obviously it's not going to happend

I dont have the Leven gear (although it might be) but I got all the Stainless stuff on mine from new, as they now fit it as standard.

After comparing the new with the old I would say go for the full monty, IMO, it looks much nicer.

Have you seen the headlamps conversion offered by TVR Body Shop? Have a look under "BodyShop" then "Headlights". Is that the sort of thing you mean?

And there are a few threads knocking about e.g. FRONT LIGHT CONVERSION If that's any help.
