The difference is negligeable, in fact brand new 55 profile tyres are probably about the same size as bald 60 profile ones! Run the new tyres at the same pressure as the old ones. Be cautious about mixing type or condition of tyres front/rear though, brand new on the front with slicks on the back could be 'interesting' and the other way round could be too.

Cheers,

Hmmm, the front of my 97 Chim has 55s on it. Makes me wish that I had bought ZRs for my old Cav, I would have had a load of spares now that I am getting rid of the Cav.
