Yep, beer doesn't seem to work for me anymore.....

Seriously, that little rubber seal thingy right at the back of the doors near the window glass keeps falling off. I've tried various contact adhesive (sp) and UNU seemed to be working until today when it fell off again when I was cleaning the beast.

Any recommendations...

Mine keeps coming loose. Lost the last one so got a new one through castle.

Problem is black silicon gunge sticks well to the door but not to the rubber doodad. A hot melt glue gun works better, but is a bit of a pain to apply, and has the advantage that it's less flexible when dry.

I guess the next thing to try is to roughen up the surfact of the rubber thing before sealing it back on.

Superglue worked fine for me ... hope I don't need to take it off ever.

I tried all sorts to make mine stick. In the end I used araldite and scuffed up the surface of the rubber to provide a key.

The reason mine kept coming away:
If you have seen a strip of this rubber then you will know that it is made up of a tube and flap of rubber, this is the bit that you see against the window. The main reason mine was coming away was due to the window tearing it off when it rubbed against the tubular bit (loads of friction). So, once stuck down I cut away a section of the tube to make it more flexible and reduce the friction. Job done.
