You can get a spray attachment witnthe can/tin and attach. Works on a pump action I think from memory.
You want to put it on any exposed metal (chassis etc) you can see under the car. Try standing the tin in a bucket of hot water for an hour beforehand, so it thins down to be able to spray well.
Of course on a car wih a steel body, it just repels any water. Rebuilt an old MGB nearly twenty years ago, inner and outer sills. Inner sills virtually filled with Waxoyl, Bet it's as good as new today.

It's a shame that you have already fitted them as the plastic coating is crap really you should paint them with a good coat of Hammerite before waxoyling this should then give better protection.

Guys,
I urge you all to get freezing cold, get your cars on axle stands and hammerite/waxoyl the chassis and wishbones. I've just spent the last two weekends doing just that and the condition under there is pretty grim!
Although there was no kind of structural corrosion, I reckon another couple of years of ignoring it would have been expensive! Also noticed a slight 'tear' in the rear anti-roll bar mounting on the rear lower wishbone.
Sorry everyone!
