If it is Cureton green it should be a kind of non-metallic (i..e solid) dark green with an olive green hue? It was named after Dorothy Cureton who worked/works(?) at the factory - not sure why though! Rich...

I'm pretty sure my Griff is Cureton Green and it is metallic. Not sparkly metallic, but metallic all the same.
I've only ever seen one 'solid' green Griff. Looked good, though, if a bit odd.
Apparently if you call the factory and give them the chassis number of the car, they'll tell you the paint number, interior colours etc.

They didn't name it after someone in the trim shop. Dotty would kill you for that.

Dorothy and Peter have known each other for years. I think she worked for him before or the company she worked for had close connections with his old chemical company. When she joined TVR she was his main advisor - His Right Hand Man so to speak. So he named a colour after her.

Yep, my old pre-cat Griff was Cureton Green. Definitely metallic. Looked bloody gorgeous IMHO! J580 WMO if it's still out there?
