annoying the neighbours
Discussion
My neighbours have a Triumph Herald convertible which they like to rev occassionally. Therefore when I got the TVR - well, it would be rude not to....
They havent taken the Herald out since! Well, they did like to refer to it as "the sportscar" - just had to put them straight on that one....
Cheers,
Paul

God knows what our neighbours think , got a 4ltr Chimaera , and a very loud 400SE . At times have resorted to pushing the car to the end of the street . Won't start them until after 10 at the weekends , major problem arises every Monday morning as I have to be at the airport by 6.30am !!
I park my Chimaera at the back under a car port. There are walls on both sides and flats going 3 floors up! Get the pitcure?
I'd love to leave it running for 5/10 minutes in the morning to warm up but don't have the heart! It's bad enough just starting it and hearing the noise reverberate around 5+ bedroom windows!!!!!

The above thread sounds amzingly similar to my flat.....They hated me in my pre-cat Griff..in fact two occupants actually said to the guy fitting my new speakers...'I hope you are nicking that'....tossers....anyway now I have the Cerbie there have been no complaints....but with the sports exhaust being added this weekend watch this space......especially as there is a little tunnel under the flats to get to the car ports...might just sit there blipping for an hour or so..or until I run out of fuel....shouting 'I'm back !!!'
