...no, sorry, not offering but asking? Now the crisp white stuff is appearing at cock-crow (or is that crow-cock?), my back lights look like goldfish bowls. Anyone sussed a cure?

V8??...just four TL1000s zip-tied together, innit!?

No experience of Chim directly, but generally:
Remove as much of assembly as poss.,
Hairdry to remove as much moisture as poss (Caution-I nearly melted my Elan tailights doing this !,)
Reassemble with a smear of vaseline over any seals.
Unfortunately there isn't a "definitive cure" other than buying new lights (which will, in turn, steam up over the years...)

It's probably a case of resealing the clear lens.

My Chim had this problem, especially after washing the car. After a respray, the lenses were resealed and I don't have the problem any more.
