Head Rest Slipping

Having owned a Chimaera (4.0L) for a whole 3 months and not yet lost the wide grin , I have only encountered one problem - my head rest keeps slipping down.
I have thought about adding some tape around the stem, but that seems a bit tacky (the solution not the tape). Has anyone got a more elegent solution ?

There should be a ratchet mechanism holding this up. I've never taken the seat apart but I have an idea this is the only way to get at the insides to fix it. How about a small tie wrap, would that be inconspicous enough? Alternatively you could put a pair of Zertec race seats on your Xmas list!
