Hello All,

Does anyone know if its possible to get a touch in paint stick for the TVR colour Starmist Blue.

After a bad weekend of getting the roof in the boot (doh!) and shutting the door with my keys in my hand I have a requirement for said item.

If you can get this stick is it straight paint or is it in some kind of clever applicator involving wax or something similar that an idiot could use?

Matt.

I seem to think that you can get a 'touch up'stick (ooeerr) from any dealer, or if you know the Paint Code ( The factory can tell you )..

I purchased small (1/4 litre) of Starmist blue from my local spray shop, I had the paint code which is on the inner wing top as you open the bonnet on the drivers side. Good match, but needs 2-3 coats on a big chip because of translucent finnish. Ready mixed with hardener, I've been told it will dry out in 3 months though.

Was it easy to apply or was it a spray and sand affair?

Webbs in Bristol will make one up for you, abot £12. Takes about a week. The paint code is on the plate in the engine bay They'll need it when ordering.

I might have a full stick of touchup paint for Starmist blue from my last chimp. I'll have a rummage, see if I can find it.

Anyone got a spare moonraker black..? Some terrible scratches where I've put the roof in the boot!
