Heated Mirrors
Discussion
Its automatic and works for the first few mins when you start the engine.
On my car this is why the glue holding the mirror glass to the mirror gets warm and the glass then gets loose. So I have to press it back in to place.
Final fix for this (for me) will be to glue glass on with something less heat sensative.

Yep, superglue is an option, but I was thinking of this liquid steel stuff I have. Thats what I ended up having to mend my mirror with when some nice person snapped it off.
Also I have a couple of bits of trim that have been glued on before and came loose. I reckon that if I use this Liquid Steel on them as well then they will NEVER come off !

The glass fell out of my passenger mirror last April, and I stuck it back in with 3 - or 4 - double sided sticky pads from Sellotape. Car sits outside so has been in all weather and it hasn't budged since.
The glass that is not the whole mirror itself, which still moves, well, as good as they ever do!
