Chimaera Dashboard
Discussion
Dealer just shoved a new bulb in my rev counter ... after I might have buggered everything up a bit by taking the dash to bits possibly but I'm admitting nothing but looking apologetic ... anyway, the net net is that the rev counter is twice as bright as anything else on the dashboard and I actually quite like it. Never struck me before that it makes sense to vary the brightness of the dials to reflect relative importance.
However ... the guzillion dollar question ... why does TVR provide us with a switch to turn off the dash illumination (except for the heating controls which are clearly vital at all times)???? Why is this switch hidden out of reach???? What ...? Duh???

Doh, like the arse warming switch that lurks down there also - great place, well done TVR on that one.
My dealer showed me where the dash lights kill switch was. I only discovered the seat warmer by accident whilst rumaging (sp) around for that (just to try it out).
I wonder if there are any other mysterious switches lurking around (hmm, like a 'overheat' disable/enable switch or a 'I need to use the car, so I'll break down' switch)
Just kidding!
