Anyone got the knowledge as to how the wing-mirrors can be tightened up?

There is a plastic black "cap" at the base of the mirror. This needs to be pulled upwards to expose a small grub screw on what is a best described as a large "O" ring. The "O" ring is actually screwed into the door and then the mirror is screwed into the "O" ring and tightened by the grub screw. It will be this grug screw that needs tightening. This is a bit of a fiddly job that needs an allen key if I recall.

Good luck

Thanks Phil - I'll play with my grub screws later.

Do you reckon this will stop my wing mirror slowly pointing itself down to the floor every time I straighten it?

I had a similar prob to this. I took your advise, but when i looked closer and took the cover apart, i found that the metal frame inside was cracked - caused the wobbling. It's being fixed as we speak!!

The allen key will need to be shortened to do up the grub screw, it wont fit into the mirror recess otherwise.
