Folks, I've just been out for a major blast up and down the A41 and the A1, I just have to tell you all, I love my car. I do... there's no getting away from it. Ok, so the ol' girl doesn't like starting up again after heating up a bit. And yeah, the window doesn't go all the way up... but who cares? The fun of driving is intense! The souped up Honda realised what a real car is capable of... the two Porche drivers must have wished they hadn't even tried it at the lights at Apex corner! It doesn't matter how many minor problems these cars have, the fact is, they are incredible to drive. There's not much else on the road that can supply such an adrenaline boost all the time! Hell, I was in such a good mood tonight I even let my mate driver her around a car park. Advice: If you haven't got a TVR yet - go out and buy one. If you have got one, take it out this weekend (weather permitting!) and enjoy it! And that's all I have to say about that. - ChimaeraWolf - P56 SAH - Black Chimaera 4.0

Here! Here! Although why worry too much about the weather, I'm out in all weathers, just don't get too heavy with the right foot. Anto

Amazing, makes me want to get out right now and go for it but I'm stuck at work and the cars at home. Window height - little screw below the window brush. It acts as a stopper, turn it anticlockwise and your window will go higher.

Wouldn't worry about the weather (once you can close the window anyway). I find it reduces the turning circle of the car quite considerably

Great! Cheers guys, I'll sort the window out on the weekend. Strangely enough though it doesn't leak in the rain even though the gap is quite big! Apache, you're right, there aren't too many black ones around. Damn hard to keep clean is the problem! I don't have any pics yet but I'll get some soon and post 'em here! - ChimaeraWolf - P56 SAH - Black Chimaera 4.0

what sort of black is it wolf? Mine's a VW diamond black chim 500 and i agree its a bugger to keep clean but i just think it look's oh so classy in black during the day and devilishly sinister at night...but that's my opinion. I have only had mine about 2 or so months and have only managed 600 miles..bloody work! Anyway take your point i love, love, love it. Came out of an M5 and was worried after reading a lot of the post's but tearing the A406 to shreds all apprehension is lost and replaced by awe, all out lust for this car and she looks fantastic to boot. polished the car up, shined up the tyres, filled er up with optimax, put the shades on, dropped the roof, put Goldfrapp's excellent new one on the CD changer and went for a blatt in the country.....does it get any better, esp when you see other sportscar drivers look on enviously

Did the same this lunchtime Went to have lunch with my girlfriend, I was getting withdraw symptoms because I wasn't driving it much (the car not my girlfriend ). Two weeks ago someone keyed it so I've been extra careful until we move to a place with a garage. Anyway, I had a great drive down the A10 from Cambridge to Royston. Great straight road in places with plenty of overtaking opportunity. I put Optimax in for the first time, and it definitely ran smoother not too sure about performance gains. I'm not saying there weren't any, its just I couldn't really tell. I also saw an orange N Reg Griff near Tesco's roundabout in Royston when I dropped my girlfriend back at work. Was that anyone on the forum?? Oh, and I had the roof down all the time because it was sunny. Life doesn't get much better Edited by chimpboy on Thursday 4th October 17:07

A friend has just bought a Scooby after deciding against a chim. I demonstrated the Tiv to him this lunchtime, i.e. 0-120 time in a very short distance & all I could hear was from him was "F**k I've bought the wrong car..."

Hey all, Sher, it's Moonraker black...got sort of speckles of faint silver in it. Nice! Suprised I haven't seen ya on the A406! I'm usually up and down there a few times on the weekend. I saw a nice blue Chimp on Monday going up towards broadgate. Didn't get a chance to flash it 'coz it was raining and I couldn't see where I was going. Driven by a guy wearing a baseball cap. May have been on their way to the TRVCC meet (which I unfortunately couldn't make!) at about 6:30pm. - ChimaeraWolf - P56 SAH - Black Chimaera 4.0 Edited by ChimeraWolf on Friday 5th October 00:54

Small world! I was coming out of Tesco's on to that roundabout. You were about 3 cars in front of us. I think you went left at the next roundabout, we went right. Mine is a Mica Blue Chimaera.
