I''ve seen posts where peeps have mentioned replacing the Pioneer speakers in doors with Infinity jobs. Just wondering which model fits (can only see a 6.5 inch in their range?) and looking for confirmation that there is sufficient clearance for window to drop fully etc as this seems pretty deep. V8??...just four TL1000s zip-tied together, innit!?

Marshy, how much? did you upgrade the speaker wire? if so how easy is this to do?

I used flat speaker cable which I had left over from wiring up my AV system. Very flexible, but getting it through the rubber seals on body and door was a pain. You need to be careful peeling back the carpet at the side of the footwell to get access. You should have enough access through the speaker hole in the doors (unless you work at the WWF).
