Can anyone give me advice on replacing the accelerator cable on a 4.0 Chimaera ? The cable has broken 25 mm away from the bullet at the pedal end. Suprise, suprise it''s the one part not covered under the WH Warranty.

I think you'll find there's more than one item not covered by the warranty

Not much to it save that the adjuster near the throttle linkage is in a tight spot with not much room to swing a spanner. You will need to seal round hole where cable passes through body else water will find its way in (just use silicon smoothed round to form seal). Standard cables are pretty weedy affairs and seem to fail regularly...would be tempted to have someone like Venhill Engineering make up something beefier. V8??...just four TL1000s zip-tied together, innit!?
