Anybody know the wiring order for the mirror switch in the driver''s door panel? (Chim 450 1997) I took mine apart, numbered the wires, put it together but it does not work - my numbering went wrong somewhere. Any help much appreciated.

Don't know if this helps but I had the drivers door panel off my '98 450 a few weeks ago and while pottering around the garage last night I found on a piece of stray cardboard with the words "white inside" on it. This was code to myself which meant the white wire went to the inside i.e. nearest the door skin terminal. As I remember the rest took care of themselves because they had different sizes spade connector. Edited by bob clenton on Thursday 23 August 13:35

Thanks but no good for me - no white wire and spades all the same size. Oh well, in for a service soon, they can fix it. Thanks

I think this is either on Peter Beech's page or it's in a thread further down the page. Peter's page is the most likely.

Sorted. The reason it did not work was because the power feed wires had slipped out of their mounts and wer not connecting properly. Thanks for your sugestions.
