Vyt! Re your 5th gear/clutch problems

Vyt, I just wanted to check with you what happened about your dodgy 5th gear (since it seems the same as mine) Did the garage fix the gearbox or just the clutch arm? Was it expensive? Cheers Xain ---------------------- Chaps I have a ''95 Chimeara 4.0 which had a graunchy 5th gear, fine if you changed slowly, or at low RPM <3k. A couple of months ago the clutch lever arm broke. Had if fixed at Peninisula now the change to 5th is sweet and the declutching force is low. If you take the clutch slave cylinder off you can see the pivot socket on the lever arm. The ball joint had broken through on mine.
