Chimps for small people?

Just been to sit in a bunch of Chimeras this lunchtime down at hawthorns. Beautiful cars, but couldn''t seem to get the seats to go far enough back for me. Are chimps only for short people - or is there a trick (different seats etc?)

How tall are you? Peter Wheeler is 6'4" and he fits. I'm 6' and and I fit easily. Are you sure the pedal box hasn't been adjusted forward (though I doubt if this was the case on all cars. Seat travel is sometimes difficult to get all the way back and you need to be sitting in it to achieve it. Once fitted the struggle is worthwhile! John

I'm 6'2, I do have pretty long legs though. Perhaps I need to sit in a well used seat, seat and seat back seemed to curve out at me so I was sitting off the back like /( if you know what I mean!) Though the seat would hug me more!

I'm 6'4" and I found the Chimeara fine. You can adjust the pedals though, which may help you if legs are the problem

Guess I just have to try a few more, perhaps the pedals on the one I tried weren't in the right place for me... Cerby I sat in though was fine though.

Turning this on it's, head my wife struggles to reach the pedals with the seat fully forward and the pedals screwed right out. Anybody got a solution. At the moment this means I have to drive everywhere

Ah, I've been there. My other half is a short-arse so I got the seat bracket changed by my dealer (moved forward a couple of inches). Simple job to do providing your not really tall and the other half isn't really short. Basically you lose the extremes of the seat adjustment, ie anyone taller than 6ft would struggle in my car. Steve
