Having had a near miss due to my fault ( left indicator left on!!!)
I'd like to add either an electronic indicator flasher with buzzer, or warning buzzer to the existing indicator unit.

Can anyone tell me where the flasher unit is located, is it a two wire or three, any recommended replacement to improve my hearing of the indicator left on, my car is a 4.0 1994 Series one, with the indicator positioned for the passenger to monitor. !! - positioned on the far left of the dash, (RHD) unbelievably poor indicator lights, and very little "ticking" noise above the engine row!

Any suggestions? (leave out about the new hearing aids will you!)

How many accidents has this caused in the past??

Great reply with detail, thanks.

Do you know where the flasher unit is located?

Is it a two or three pin unit?

Never had a need to look for mine but I suspect it’s in the top of the dash on the passenger side.

I bought a unit from eBay that is a beeper but you can control how many flashes it does before it starts beeping. My left would not cancel but that is now fixed.
