Hi all, it’s been a while since I posted here, I’ve had the old girl garaged for a fair bit of time. I’m getting her back on the road and found a long brake peddle, so upon bleeding I noticed no fluid coming from the rear calipers, I cracked the union at the end of the flexi and could bleed from there so I assume the flexis have collapsed. However I couldn’t for the life of me lay a spanner on the clamp nut that holds the flexi in place.
Any tips on how to get at it?

Recently changed the flexies all round for Stainless braided ones. Video's on youtube. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLqxEUtyoHqn... The nut at the back is 17mm, ideal would be a short ring spanner, after you have removed your brake banjo nut with a spring washer behind. Proper pain in the but to get at & that's with the 2 post car lift. In all cases it's the head in the wheelarch as from under the car it's very restricted. Have you removed your bleed nipples to make sure they are not blocked with crud.

Thanks Steve, I removed the bleed nipples completely and still next to no fluid pressure. Do you happen to know which video the flexi replacement is on?
I’ll get my head back in there tomorrow and have a fiddle about.
Thanks Andy

Not quite sure which video it was. Have a look at the playlist & it will be there somewhere. Sorry I have posted so many video's that I am not sure which one it was.

Thanks chaps, the vid was helpful, I ended up using a cut down 17mm (can’t remember what job I cut it for) and a hammer handle to apply leverage.
