Interior door knob
Discussion
Hi, all.
I have a curious question regarding the Chimaera's interior door knob. (the one behind the gear stick) Does this require the battery to function or is it merely a simple mechanical relay? I am asking this further to an incident with my Chimaera last week. I won't elucidate further as I suspect you can all guess what I am alluding to. Thanks.

There are a differences between Chimaeras about 3 or 4 i think ... and there's a difference between locking the door and arming the door.... the incorrect functioning of the central locking button can cause the external wing mirror button not to function ... this is often caused by the contacts on the switch and it's infrequent operation... the light should go on/off ... but many don't work now , turning the knob should cancel ... but often doesn't ... arming/disarming on the key fob is my usual solution.... but I like to leave the roof off/ window open in the garage and the car unarmed
