I have recently been inside the drivers door sorting out a stuck window, thanks again for the help there. Having sorted that issue I now find that neither door mirror works so it looks like I've done something I didn't intend to do!

I have checked all wiring from the door mounted alloy change-over/joystick to the mirror control unit (which was under the dash) and back to the drivers mirror for continuity - all ok. I have 12V to the mirror control unit via the green wires which go to pin 3 and pin 10, earths all appear ok. Mirror motors will operate if I feed 12v to them direct. I have managed to figure out how the change-over/joystick should operate and that appears to be fine also.

It's beginning to feel like the Mirror control unit is faulty, any other ideas out there?

If they worked ok before going into the door I'd just double check the wiring.
Some report that a relay was dangling around in the door for them, may be different if yours has the control module.
Connectors for the door electrics can he found dangling near the boot release button behind carpet.
Just worth parting these and checking/reseating.

Thanks for that. Some sort of wiring issue was my first thought, I have parted and cleaned all connectors. To be sure I did the continuity checks between the connector to the control unit and the final connectors at the other end of the harness (for the selector/joystick and mirror). So, I don't think I have a wiring issue between the Control unit and the joystick/mirrors and I appear to have power to the mirror control unit. Struggling to work out what else other than a control unit fault could stop all mirror function.

That said it's also suspicious that its happened at the same time I've disturbed the wiring inside the door!
