So how many of us have had those surprising quick wins when we were expecting a pig of a job to unfold ?

Just went to remove the clutch master cylinder and was fully tooled up after reading about the bottom bolt access and having to jiggle the copper pipe free etc. I had it all, every length socket and extension, uj's, cranked spanners, bent spanners...you name it.

Only to find that, in the past, some heroic masterful stunning amazing King of the Legends had used Araldite on the bolt heads so they were stuck fast. Impact gun on the lowest setting in the footwell and it was out. 4 minutes from start to finish biggrin

Whoever you were in the past...Sir (or Madam)...I salute you and owe you a beer !!

May have had sikaflex on them from the factory as this seemed to be the chosen sealant to stop water ingress.

Me! I was expecting this to be a quick plating job, it wasn't but so far everything has undone bar one bolt, and it is just being good to me so far
