Hoping to get some thoughts on this.

Had new Billies fitted around 4-5 years ago. For various reasons I haven't been able to drive the car as much as I'd have liked, but they've still had 2k miles put on them. The fronts don't seem to have settled at all... No sniggering in the back please, but using the good old 'finger' test, I can get 3, almost 4 fingers in between the tyre and arch. Then at the rear its as if they've gone too far. Can only just get 2 fingers in.

None of the shocks appear to be leaking, still look brand new as I guess they should, as do the springs. They also appear to have the correct ride height settings as far as I can tell, so thats the front spring sitting on the middle of the 3 settings and the rear is on the top spring seat groove.

Rear

Any issues if I were to lower the front spring seat to the lowest groove ? Can't figure out if I'm working my around a problem as such or if I need to change them again. I'm loath to lay out another grand when these units are pretty much new.

Car is is still on the standard 15 and 16 inch wheels as its always been. Tyres are toyo proxies tr-1s. And I know I'm clutching at straws here, but surly there is no way the PAS rack could interfere with ride height some way ? Its been sent to Kiley Clinton for a full refurb and needed quite a bit of work, but hasn't come back yet. Its literally the only thing even remotely connected to the front suspension that needs any work...

Thoughts ?

Were they supplied by Ben Lang?
If so I'd ask him first for advice as they should have come pre set.
They can be adjusted but I'd just ask him first.
From the factory the cars had a slight nose down attitude as you may know.

No, by the guys at Str8six when it was having a service. I trust their installation procedures of course. Not sure if they are away racing or just super busy at the moment as been struggling to get hold of them recently.

The cars ‘stance’ was perfect before they were changed, now it looks like a power boat on full throttle biglaugh

I’ll try and get hold of Ben to ask and see what he says. Cheers !
