I used my 1994 griffith every day for 2years. Left it outside, drove it in snow, rain, hail, fog and blazing sunshine. No wet problems, just get any leaks sorted fast and you should be okay.

I don't think the chassis is very well coated for rust protection, but there should not be any major problems, it's all pretty robust. I use my TVR in all weathers - just watch out for aquaplaning on puddles due to the wide tyre/light weight combination. Trefor/.

I use my TVR in all weathers, and have paid for the chassis to be waxoyled in the hope this will help protect it. (No doubt someone will now tell me this doesn't work, but it wouldn't make any difference, I'd still drive the car!)

I think it's imperative to drive them every day, it's the only way you can keep them reliable. I have a mate with a Ferrari 308 who only drives in it dry weather, I couldn't bear it plus I'm sure the guys at the factory would rather their creations were used for the purpose they were built otherwise it seems to me a pointless task in them taking the effort to build them in the first place. Mind you at an engine out cam belt change every 10 yards I guess he takes a different view! Use it as often as possible but like the others say, drive it like there is an egg under the loud pedal in the wet!

Yup, Watch out in the wet.. Check out the Ouch thread, as I recently found out. On a slightly different subject what are the best tyres for the wet. Once I get mine back, I'm gonna change the tyres for something a little more grippy (even at the expense of changing tyres more regularly). Cheers Steve
