Radiator grille?
Discussion
I''ve just had to have the radiator on my 450 recored due to stone damage (not mechanical breakdown so not covered by WHA!). It is a recent model so has no front grille - anyone know where I could get some sort of mesh to sit at the back of the opening to protect the rad (and how would it be fixed on?)?
I know Leven Technology do a stainless one but that is a replacement for the grilles on earlier chims which already have one, so presumably mine has no mounting points. Any suggestions?
Halfords to a body repair kit (can't remember the name) which consists of glass fibre matting and an (epoxy?) resin. The resin will be fine for fixing the grille (well attach some brackets to fix the grille to, so that you can remove it).
Bit of a bodge, but if it protects the rad' and is not visible from outside the car, I could live with it.

I think Halfords do a stainless mesh which the Max Power types use to replace standard grilles. If not, somewhere like Demon Tweeks or Elite certainly do. You'll need to cut it to shape, and use a glassfibre kit to bond on some mounting points (as suggested previously in this thread).
