When people clean their Chimaera''s roof what do you use? Is it ok to use a car shampoo like the bodywork, or will that leave nasty streaks/discolouring, etc? Any recommendations appreciated...

Not had occasion to do it yet, but, I'm told warm soapy water, and for stubbon stuff a toothbrush gently rubbed on it. Re-seal with Fabseal or something similar. Want to be a Guinea Pig? Are all TVR tops mohair?

I believe they are Mohair - just from a shorter haired Mo than the ones they use for suits. A good bucket of soapy water and a brush do the job for me (and the roof). T/.

I had an Auto Glym Cabriolet kit on a shelf in my garage for 2 years... ;-) Finally used it yesterday, very good result. Should'nt need to use too often (20 quid, should do 2-3 times), my car is garaged, so don't have much of the bird ****, tree residue problem on the roof. B
