Has anyone fitted mud flaps to their Chim or do they look cr@p? I can''t recall seeing any with them and thought they might be useful to prevent scratches and chips around the lower body and sills.

Never seen any - wouldn't look very good either. You could fit some of that Amorfend transparent film to the vunerable areas.

While I'm on the subject of preventing scratches, etc. Is there anything like a spray on/ peel off transparent rubber compound? Would be really useful for the nose! Edited by macca on Wednesday 13th June 22:17

Why not follow the yanks? Get one of those lovely black nose covers for your chimp.............. That should stop the chips! Sparks Edited by sparks on Thursday 14th June 08:22

Armorfend have a website - do a search. I've seen TVRs with it on - it looks OK until the edge gets dirty then you see the 'join'. I've resigned to getting mine resprayed every 2-3 years.
