where is the alarm control unit ??

Is it behind the dash or footwell ?? I want to add a remote locking facility to it. cheers Chris

I think it's under the dash but don't quote me! I thought all Chimeara's have remote locking or is that not true?

They only had remote locking as standard after 1996 - ive got a late 94 model - has key locks - urghhhhh!!! thanks for the info. Chris

Er, Mine is '95 and has the newer locks (not the newest locks you understand). The alarm control unit sits on a shelf under the long LHS bit of the dash, well mine does anyway. I think there is also a sensitivity adjuster under the rear bit of the centre console but I've not been 'in' there yet. T/.

That's what mine looks like too Trefor. Suggests at least of the beasts were made identically...
