South West/Wales Good Dealers

Hi all Anyone use got any comments to make on any of the dealers both good and bad in the south west and wales region, also any good independant dealer/servicing agents would be most welcome. cheers for now J

In the south west there are only 3 main dealers to my knowledge Hendry's in Malmesbury, Brooklands in Exeter, and Newtown Motors in Cwmbran. Specialists near by are David Gerald in Worcester, Webbs in Bristol, and Peninsula down in Devon or Cornwall. Having only had the Tiv for a few months I have been trying to find the best place to service the car, and so far most people I've asked have pointed me towards the specialists. (Webbs are new to servicing, they started out as a body shop so I would be interested if anyone has had any experience of their technical work) Cheers Dan

My experience so far has been limited to Hendry's in Malmesbury because they are close by .I can say from experience they are good, enthusiatic and knowledgeable.Whilst the service cost is typical of dealers I think its well worth the money. Webbs have doen a headlamp conversion and its to a high standard -even Hendry's appeared impressed but I dont have any experience of their technical capability.

As I mentioned I have used Webbs for body work and they are good.I've not used them for mechanical work .Speak to Jason Webb -01275 858461. They will also pickup and return back your car.

Try Peninsula in Cullompton, they charge £25/hr labour and seem to work on nothing but TVR's.
