Nice sunny evening yesterday was a good enough excuse to take the roof off & go for a blast Now, either I've shrunk or I must be going mad, couldn't see a bl**dy thing out the rear view mirror. Question is, how far are the rear view mirrors fitted from the vertical supports on your windscreens, guess I've got about 1.5 inch space. Havn't had a new screen fitted or anything so am a bit baffled, presumably if I move the mirror up the screen, I'll be able to see better over the top of the hood... Next obvious question, what glue do I need to rebond the mirror to the screen ? Sure I didn't have this problem before, maybe was just concentrating too much on where the car was going rather than where it had been.......

I had this same problem. I found that the trick is to get the roof support to fold down more. 1st, Make sure you undo the velcro completely, then fold it down normaly, then tug the plastic rear window stuff downwards along its length. Sort of pull the roof support down by the plastic rear window. Then you dont have to move the mirror Edited by RobM on Thursday 3rd May 10:09

Just as an aside, if you ever need to 're-glue' your rear view mirror back on, go to your local motor factors. They sell a little pad which is really sticky I've always used them never fail. One side is black the other green, just remember Green-to-glass or it will never stay on.
