CV Joints

I shall merrily throw the gasket in the bin then.
I did buy some Oetiker clips for the shaft end of the boot though, as this isn’t in the kit but is present on the car.

Me neither, but I definitely recommend fiting end caps

How does that end cap work?
To go where exactly?

I haven't taken my car apart yet to see it, so it may be obvious.

They go between the diff output flange and the CV joint, and keep the grease in the CV joint enabling a driveshaft swap to be relatively painless
