Atom buying advice
Discussion
Hi Folks,
Just nipped over from the Porsche forum to see if I can look for some advice from Atom owners please.
I currently own a 996 turbo , but am considering some track time in the future. The turbo is not the ideal car for this as you may know, so I firstly considered looking into a Porsche GT2, to stick with the turbo power. However these are again not best suited to track work, tricky to handle and most important things, is that it is almost impossible to find a good straight car at reasonable money. Then thought about a 996 GT3, but again they are expensive, not best suited for day to day running and past history is again pretty important.
So that got me thinking would I not just be better off finding a purely track dedicated car. If this was the case, then it would have to be an Atom. But here lies the problem, I do not have too much knowledge about what to look out for regarding an Atom .And being fairly small in number, it is possible that I will be able to find out a bit more about the model itself, and also some in depth knowledge from owners past / present.
I have noted this car here http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2134162.htm
Does anyone know the car ?
Does it sound like reasonable money ?
Do you use your Atom in the wet ? If so would you recommend all weather driving within reason ?
Appreciate there are a lot of questions, but thanks in advance if you have the time to answer
Cheers

Hi Willmac
Your better asking on the AAOC Forum, http://forum.atomclub.com/, think this car has been discussed before now.
And if you fancy a try before you buy, give me a call, www.atomhire.co.uk
