Bloody hell!

Are those lap times really correct? I'm surprised at how much faster the Atom was.

Great news if it's legit info.

The times are legit - Simon brought the car along to our annual handling day and it's fair to say that it was the star of the show. To be completely fair I ought to add that the car was actually second fastest around the track to the JP1, but we loved the Ariel more. I believe that Chris Harris said "There was just something so rewarding about the Atom, something so intense and raw that it was the car we all wanted..... the Atom gets into your veins like nothing else on four wheels"

Well, that's excellent then!

I noticed the article was dated Aug 2003, have Ariel only just put it up on their site?

Or has it been there a while and we've only just noticed.

Cheers, Ross.

It's just put on the Ariel website, but a car was faster : the JP1 (not means "Jean-Pascal one", but "Johnatan Palmer 1" ...) in 1 min 14.2 sec .
Autocar 26 August 2003.
Incredible that's a french frog has to give this information to English Atom drivers' !

Not that incredible given that this English bloke pointed it out earlier in the same thread!
