The arrival of the new car covers sees the launch of the first Atom accessory.

What other items would owners (and others) like to see in the glossy catalogue that's sure to be winging its way through letterboxes all over the world in the near future?

My first thoughts are that they'll be offering:

- footrest for passengers
- bespoke luggage
- Ariel logo decals
- keyring
- paddock jacket
- polo shirt
- watch
- umbrella

I'm not condoning all of these you understand, but it would offer an income stream outside of car manufacture and seems to be what other specialists like Caterham, Aston, Noble etc. offer.

An Ariel branded leather flying helmet and goggles (tinted of course) in the vein of WWI pilots.

Hey guys, the flying jacket thing won't work ! I have one ,and i get jammed in the seat ,the damned jacket is so thick and well padded I need a bloody hoist to get myself out of the car,the goggles are a must.
The cover is a bit pricey ,but I would think there is a lot of work involved in making it, I'll just keep using the cat and some good quality polish!
Here's my list of "must have" accessories.
Paddock Jacket (cool suggestion bruce)
Passenger footrest
Headrest pads that velcro onto the seat(stops neck ache)
Carbon fibre side panels branded "Atom"
Small lockable compartment under the dash.
Bruce, dont worry about the stickers,I have an awesome printing/vinyl cutting machine coming in a couple of weeks from japan ,you can then send me any design you want done ,up to 30" wide x whatever length.
