Are there any US Atom owners or dealers?

I traveled to the UK in December of 2002 to visit with some of my GT40 car buddies (I run www.gt40s.com) and we visited the Ariel site and spent a good deal of time talking with Simon. It was a horrible day, but he still took out the demo car and ran me through the countryside.

So, I'm certainly hooked and was wondering if there were any Atoms in the US? I've imported cars from overseas so I'm willing to do that again but if there was a dealer in the US then it'd be that much easier.

Hi Ron! You should talk to Simon - he'll know of any. I suspect he wants to get into the States, as he was chatting to me about an Atom run down Highway 1! I think the new Honda engine makes it easier to get though US emissions, so that's almost certainly a possibility. You can get his email off the Ariel site, or we can chat to him for you at the track day

You'd have rig up separate sources for the chassis and the engine respectively to get around type approval, emissions, crash test regulations.
Lotus did not exactly manage to even squeak through with the Elise, and they have been here for years.
Cats, Birkins make it through with the separate chassis/engine source tap dance. TVR cannot as they haven't been here and have no waiver credits as Lotus did.
