It's late at night, but he did have a rolling start on all the cars he took on, I think. Somewhere on here and the Atom forum you will find footage of the races. How long could he have kept it up??!! I would love to see a 24hr endurance race

Everyones raving about the electric motor. What about the car!!

what a power plant..just need to shed battery weight ...

Just 15 inches long and a foot in diameter, the motor has only three moving parts--the rotor and two bearings--and redlines at 13,300 rpm.....

The X1 runs on 538 pounds of lithium-ion cells capable of generating 4,000 amps. The car has a range of 100 miles and recharges in 4.5 hours.

...What`s 538 pounds in KG..?.....1/4 of a tonne..?

from a quick web search and calculator job,

244.03269506 KG

but how many KG's for the engine and fuel tank etc ?

Does anybody have a figure for KG of the X1 ?
